Jerry Pollack is a world renowned Biotechnology scientist and Professor at The University of Washington Seattle USA.

He is Founding Executive Director of The Institute of Venture Science researching water’s fourth phase, exclusion-zone (EZ) water and water motion applications in nature and technology.

In 1962, Rachael Carson, a US Fish and Wildlife Service employee published her book Silent Spring raising the US public awareness and concern for living organisms and the natural environment from synthetic pesticides, specifically DDT. 

In 1969, one of worst oil spills (estimated  80,000 to 100,000 barrels) occurred in Santa Barbara, California. This led Senator Gaylord Nelson, a Wisconsin senator, to establish April 22 as the Earth Day for university students. 

The Earth Day Organisation was born and directly lead to the creation of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. 

Today, this organisation runs environmental, conservation and restoration projects globally and provides Climate Education.
